I have been fishing weightless senkos a bunch lately and have been looking at these hooks. Have any of y'all used them and even if you haven't just by looking at them, what are yalls opinion of them?

I've been messing around with them. They do seem to allow the bait to be rigged really straight(usually use a brushhog). My hooking up ratio is about what it is with other brands so can't comment 1 way or the other about that. I have noticed that the baits tear up super easy on just one fish. But if I catch the fish then I am ok with that for the most part. If you do "snag" and have to do any pulling on the bait to free it DOUBLE CHECK the hook as that last bend will open up! Cool design and over the last 2 months of using em I don't have any major complaints.

For the senko you mentioned I would think they would work great. Keeps the bait perfectly straight.

They do have "regular" and then "extra strong" hooks so keep that mind if you are using braid and a stout rod. And I think they run a tad "bigger" than normal hooks so like a 5/0 is a Big hook!

So your saying there is no advantage to having these or over other brands?

The only way I would experiment with that hook is if someone gave it to me.... I won't be rushing out to buy them.

The bass I've caught were def "not" going to get off as the angle had then locked in and most of the hooksets were in the top of the mouth up near the eye. I posted some pics of it on another thread but can't seem to find it. Will load some pics on here in a bit. I've missed some fish but that may have just been me. Lily pad stems tend to mess up things...

If you have a favorite brand and catch fish using em keep at it. If you are curious and want to try these I'd say give it a go.

Agree with Basmanrudy. I have been using them for about a month now, no noticeable difference good or bad. I probably wont buy again because they are not sold locally, but I am not disappointed in the buy either. I dont use them on my T-rigs anymore, the ones I have I typically just keep on for weightless soft plastics - Flukes, Senkos, etc. - because they do keep the plastic straight.

Look like somebody over engineered a simple hook.
