OP rsbyers84 Green Horn Joined: Jan 2016 Posts: 16 Dallas, TX	Does anyone know how the freshwater inland waterways around Houston are to navigate and fish with a bass boat? I am referring to Clear Creek, Buffalo Bayou, Brays Bayou and Simms Bayou...also, any tips on good places to go on these waterways?

A lot of those urban areas are restricted access and folks ain't allowed in there with boats. But I know there's a lot of big blue cats in Greens Bayou right under I 10. Caught hundreds of pounds of them there with traps, big ones too, when I was collecting fish there in the 90's for environmental studies. I see a lot of carp, tilapia, and mullets in most of the concrete bayous around Houston. Not a lot of folks fishin' for 'em though. You get down here in Brazoria County and there's tons of places to go in a bass boat. Chocolate Bayou, Bastrop Bayou, among others. Fishbreeder
