Thanks everyone for the feedback! First and foremost at TTZ fish care is of critical importance. So much so that we worked with professionals in the industry to come up with a system that we think will revolutionize the sport and fish mortality issues.
Essentially it starts with the staging tanks, and ends with the release trailer. We for some time, as anglers and tournament organizers, have had a fundamental issue with air stones. Until very recently we used them in our staging tanks as well. But it seems for the most part air stones sit on top of the water, and release non-diffused bubbles of air that largely just pop at the surface and do little to nothing to oxygenate, circulate, and/or vent up and out harmful CO2 gases.
The system we designed makes the staging tanks essentially a livewell system on steroids. The treated, circulated oxygenated and cooled lake water in the tanks comes through the piping system and out the hoses at pressure to be placed in the bags to cool, vent, oxygenate and circulate.
The pump system apparently lost some PSI during the event, and we are correcting that as we speak with some redundant systems to prevent a future problem. We are also lengthening the hoses for easier access and delivery.
The release trailer is built around similar concepts, but the main and defining difference is the diffused, pure oxygen coming from the bottom of the tank, which circulates, permeates the water with diffused oxygen, and maybe most importantly vents up and out harmful gases (namely CO2).
We appreciate the kind words and constructive feedback. No fish were brought to the scales in any peril, and all were released healthy after monitoring in the release tank for a short time. Cedar Creek is an amazing fishery and it showed that Saturday. We will be back for sure!
We appreciate you fishing TTZ, and please continue to offer suggestions. We value you as customers, and protecting our resource is an ongoing mission for us all!

Something must have happened during setup because they always have the stones and hoses running. Booker and team run a first class operation. Did anyone mention it to them....they might not have known it wasn't running? Something definitely off course. They have always had plenty of tank space and aeration in the events I've fished.

Great tournament. I'll definitely finish out the North region this year. I think TTZ did a great job and this trail should continue to grow.
