It is VERY POSSIBLE. There is a spot, now inaccessible from the bank, behind the DEA/FBI headquarters off 482. Guy used to run trotlines in that deep bend there, and to see him on any given afternoon, with a rope hanging off a tree limb, skinning and cutting into steaks, a 30-50 lb flathead or bigger, was no headline news. Once the Gov't got control of that property by the river, there is more electronic surveillance and gates than you can shake a stick at. If you can find a place to launch a jon boat, canoe or kayak, (Below California Crossing dam), you can probably still fish it or trotline it and your chances of getting one of those finned mini submarines might be pretty darn good. No doubt whatsoever they are in that river. Also behind the Equestrian Center at Las Colinas, if you can find a way in, you can fish for em. They are definitely there.
