Are the buoys marking the center of the lane? Where should I launch? I'd like to launch somewhere that afforded me some good fishing without the need to run alot. Put in at 515 east, idle to the middle (east from the ramp) of the bridge go north under the 515 bridge. You will see the boat lane markers. Follow the markers to the west into glade creek. Stop by the lane marker by the first point you come to, it will be on your left (south of you). Now start fishing, you will be in Glade Creek, a very good area this time of year and enough water to fish for several days. Thanks!

From the same ramp you can idle south and head into Long Branch Creek too, usually one of fastest warming creeks.
If heading to Glade also continue the run along the bouys towards the west bank, then the boat trail will veer to the right / north. There are a couple of bouys heading north. From the last bouy continue north for a few hundred yards (before the last boat house) and then idle or troll back towards the center of the "bay" you will cross over the main creek channel and other ditches and drains. Fish / search around this shallow area moving along or near the main creek towards the north end of the bay. Don't overlook the northeast bank either.
and from the same ramp, Rogers Creek, Bell Creek, and Taylor Branch Creek are easy to get to and can also be good this time of year, head to the last third of each main creek or search around some of the smaller feeder creeks of Bell and Taylor Branch.
