Anybody have any experience with these boats. Seems perfect for medium to large tanks/lakes.

The Base Pricing starts at $12,000 and does not include trailer.

For 12k I would buy a 1756 or 1860 Jon from your favorite aluminum boat company with a trailer for about 5k. With some aluminum angle iron, a box of rivets and some decking you'd have the same boat and easily save 4-5k.

wait, I just looked at the website, its just a hull. I thought they had some sort of electric jet type propulsion in the rear hidden under the deck, you can find an 18 ft pontoon without a motor, and rip off the fence, and it will double as a pier.....your out maybe a grand

And, I'm guessing the re-sale would be horrendous. I can't imagine there being much of a market for a second hand 17 footer with no gas motor. You'd own this boat till the bloody end.

Tracker has several models with relatively spacious flat surface areas to fish from with all the gear. And, a trailer. And, importantly, cheaper for some of them.

I really like my Meyers Sportspal Canoe, S-15 model (15' 3") with a square stern for either running on a trolling motor or up to a 5 hp motor. 44" wide with the sponsons (boat collars) so I can stand in mine all day long. It'd be great for small private lakes. Capacity is 700 lbs.

I'm still trying to wrap my mind around why someone would spend over $3,000 on a pedal kayak with no trailer.

Just one more cast!

Jimbo, yes, way over-priced but so much fun!

Kayak manufacturers that provide pedal drives? They are often separately priced at around $1000. A, what, several hundreds of years old technology???

If this isn't bad enough, the after-market add-ons are even more absurd. Often, essentially small pieces of plastic for $50.
