Folks PK is getting better every day! We have all ready quit dead slinking and are fishing bait!  If you want to fish spring break you need to call now. Shoot I acutualy Saw Mike Acosta and Kerry Dugan catch a fish the other day!

That may be true Randy but they better hire a guide.
I spent the last few days out checking out my new Helix 7 and side scan ( I'm still confused about what I am seeing) and didn't find many fish on the lower end of the lake. Only saw a few shad balls. Did catch a throw back striper. Water in Neely Slough was 56-59 Degrees and clear.

We got a little distracted by huge Sandbas schools on Sunday. We should have worked a little harder on the stripers.

Went out this morning scouting for fish when our three grandsons come for spring break, hammered sandies for a couple of hours, all were released, 75-100. Thanks for the tip Randy Wood, you know pretty much where I was.

Randy it was nice to meet you Saturday. We spent much of the day Saturday catching sand bass, but we did manage 3 Striper and one nice hybrid. The big Striper in the picks went 34". Would have let her go but the person who caught it had never caught one before so I couldn't tell him she was going back in the Water.

That's a nice fish!
PK does have some magnum Sandbass and lots of them.
Lots of places to find them right now. The river appears to be muddy and flowing. We should have a great spawn.
