I have no complaints about anything on the TFF. I also enjoy a lot of the post in all of the sections of the forum weather they are post or videos. Keep it simple click on what ever you want to read or watch in that forum. Dont worry about the small stuff.

Don't change a thing. Not that complicated on what you want to view and what you don't. Simple

I really like this idea.

I think it is getting a bit out of hand. Lots of videos but many seem to be lacking in any meaningful content. I would rather not watch someone unboxing a Tackle Warehouse order, walking through a tackle shop or filming themselves in a tournament sign up line.

Someone stated it best an regards to at least moving the monetized type out of the bass fishing section at least.

You have created rules about post count and created other pages to keep the discussion boards as discussions. Plugs and announcements was created to keep people from constantly plugging sponsors.

Why not a simple rule that if a video is monetized within youtube, it either goes to the video page or plugs and announcements. Those that wish to post a short video of a great catch or a video of their kids are treated the same as anyone posting a picture of the same thing. But the guys posting here to drive traffic and revenue get moved elsewhere

Good idea and addresses the point.
I think they are a waste of time. Most are amatuer-ish. And if money is involved, people will do and say most anything if its going to benefit them. There will be plenty of traffic without the video hawks.
I watched two lately that not one fish was caught on one, and another that sure looked like it took more than one day to film. Everyone wants to get rich doing this but it really doesn't teach me much. Just put them in their own category. How about Bad Fishing Videos.
Useless technology.
The one exception is Honey Hole. Now there is an education in fishing!

I don't have a problem with it. If I don't want to see them, I just don't click on them.

No likey, no clickey.
Seems pretty simple and one less section to monitor!
If you don't like it, move along. It's really simple. They don't self load and automatically start playing. There are certain members that I won't click on their videos because it's a waste of my time. And there are some that I click on every time because I like the content. It's a choice, just like Facebook. This is the direction all forums are headed, so we have to pick and choose what to click on. Very simple decision process. I do think it's very respectable of the owner of a forum to actually discuss changes with the audience. Thank you.

Too many youtube "likemychannel" videos in the bass section. Most are not all that informative which is what any video in the bass section should be.

It wouldn't be as big of a deal if a lot these 10 min videos was shortened to a couple minutes. I don't need 8 min of talk from an amateur or someone sponsoring a product. I generally just fast forward thru most and look for the "meat and potatoes" of it. If it's boring or I'm uninterested I just stop it and move on. I don't feel there needs to be a special section tho.

I would say post in video forum or plugs and announcements. the reason nobody post their videos in the video forum is because nobody looks at that forum and they won't get seen. They post their videos in the bass section because it's high traffic. If the videos were made to be posted in the the video forum a lot more people would probably visit that page so they can watch their favorite YouTubers. Then most guys wouldn't have to dig through the videos to find non video related information. Also just imagine in 2 more years, there will be 5 times as many pro YouTubers. You may have to create a sub forum for you tubers. Just my 2 cents, I love tff, I visited every day for the last 3 1/2 years

If the video says like and subscribe. Move to plugs and announcements

There are times I enjoy videos and times I am looking to read and interact with others. Many times I don't want the volume on the tablet. I do get annoyed when reading a catchy title and then it is just a link to a video. At the same time, when we mention a fishing method and someone posts a link to a video with explaination or how to, I will get out head phones to watch such videos.

If we leave it as it is, but add a video icon placed on the thread or video disclaimer before I click on the thread, it would be nice

Take your cursor and scroll down about 4 inches, you'll then be pass the video. I don't see a it being big deal at all. Some like braid, some dont, Yamaha or Mercury ? You can tell who's advertising and who is showing there great catch. Advertising = "YOUR POST HAS BEEN MOVED"
