I haven't fished these lakes in several years - anyone have information about what the current water level is? any grass or weeds (or did it all mysteriously die)? anything else I might need to know if I go there next week?

Not sure I have not been out there in a few years.
Might want to post in bass section.

Holbrook is fishing fantastic right now and is full. Lots of timber in the northern half of the lake, and some vegetation in isolated areas around the lake. Lots of docks that are your friend. I've mostly fished a six inch carolina rig in grape or dark green. The fish have moved up and I'm finding most in about three feet of water just about any place on the lake.

I walked around Hawkins Day use #4 last Tuesday. Threw a green lizard and a white frog. No takers.
