Any reports or tips appreciated. Haven't fished Reimers lately.

Wondering the same. May go this weekend regardless. Water is high/good, but report for whites on Lake Travis is "slow."

Thanks

I may wait a week or two. Any tips on best baits or hot spots you want to share?

Take a yak or small boat and paddle upstream to the faster water. Or just walk the bank pitching minnows or jigs or small cranks. They should be there very soon if not already. I always go with a very natural looking lure at Reimer's. fish

I has always done good with rattle traps there. Also I usually troll with my kayak and even caught a striper there last year trolling.

hey wow! Catching a stripper might prove to be VERY INTERESTING! Much more interesting than catching a Striper!

Where can you launch a yak at Reimers?

They have a new launch area right when you get down to the beach. You can drive down there to unload then go park up the hill. Give us a report! Almost went Thursday but went to The Slab instead and there were no whites there yet.

my neighbor continues to go during the weekdays, when it is sunny, and catching his limit using river minnows. He fishes upstream from the kayak launch in his bass buggy towards the falls. I've yet to see a non-rainy weekend day this year to go to Reimers. I may run out of time if I continue to wait on dry sunny days.

Shut up and fish!

Ironic how your signature reads "shut up and fish."

Fished from the beach to 3/4 mile up stream for 3 hours this am without a bite. Didn't see any fish caught by about a dozen other anglers.

Old timers say they run when the red buds bloom. Maybe another week
