What kind of GPS update speed can I expect with a Point 1?
My biggest complaint about the Gen 1 is the GPS "speed"
Wondering if the Point 1 will get me close to the Speed of Gen 2 or Gen 3

It will match the speed of the Gen 3 HDS, 10Hz refresh rate.

Night and day difference, you won't be disappointed trust me! I have gen 3's on my boat and still run 2 point ones.

That's the first thing to check, I've noticed that when I do software updates it will change to every 1 minute, I bet yours is not set to 1 second.
But a point 1 is awesome for its heading sensor, the rest of it is no better than what the graphs can do.
