 Wade fishing near Rockport/Port Aransas

Hey everybody, next week my dad and I are headed down to the Rockport area to go fish with Ken Jones. Would anyone on TFF feel comfortable sharing some good wade fishing spots down in that area? I'm planning on asking him the same question but I wanted to ask y'all too. We're gonna be taking a guided trip on Ken's boat on Monday but we wanted to do a little DIY wade fishing on Tuesday.

There are a lot of great spots to wade down there. I can recommend hitting Goose Island SP and wading the Bartell reefs on an outgoing tide. The shoreline around the Big Tree launch (at 12th Street & Lamar Beach Road, just north of the GISP office) also offers good wading. However, there are many other options, and I'm sure you'll get plenty of suggestions. Y'all have fun!
