Lonestar Lunkers Bass Club in San Antonio is always seeking new members. We have a No-Draw format where boaters always fish from their boat either alone or bring your own Non-Boater (wives, children 18 and older, friends) into the club who will fish with you always. Guests are welcome as well but can fish only for the Big-Fish of the weekend ($5). A couple of back seats are currently open, so please feel free to inquire as to non-boater availability! As with most all clubs in the San Antonio area, all tourneys are two days due to the distance one must travel to the lakes we fish. These two day tourneys are actually 2-separate tourneys per weekend fished, allowing members to compete even if they must miss a Saturday or Sunday due to other obligations. We meet once a month at the SA Bass Pro Shop in the upstairs meeting room near the hunting clothing. We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 with mixed tournament dates to accommodate holidays, fisherman's Almanac, and best moon phases. This years schedule includes Falcon, Amistad, Coleto Creek, Bastrop, Fayette Co, Choke Canyon, LBJ, and Walter E. Long.

Because we are not a large club, the camaraderie abounds with our group. So, the politics, bickering, complaining found in some larger clubs does NOT exist with us. Please come out and join us for the "Fun of It".

UPDATE: Club meetings for 2017 have changed to the 1ST Wednesday of every month. Tournaments dates will vary for any given month. Next meeting is tonight (! March) in the upstairs meeting room at the San Antonio Bass Pro Shops.
