Got out late, 10:00am, paddled as far north as I could (log jam at US 31 bridge)ended up with 5 white bass ranging from 11 to 14 inches. Overall a nice day for a paddle. If weather holds I will try them again on Thursday. Think I will start at daylight.

How is the water clarity and water temp? I went a couple weeks ago before the rain and caught them as far upstream as Roane road.
Also, any good spot to launch a yak? Thanks!

Back to the creek again today. Very slow, did end up with 5, 1 hitting 16.5" and lost one as big. Fishing with a 61/2 ft med light with 6 lb test. Caught the big one at the first hole I fished, another 1 hour later further up stream and the last 3 2 hours later all 3 in the same spot, one after the other, 3 Males, 2 females. May go back out tomorrow with minnows and see if that helps and try for some crappie.

Back to the creek on Friday. Very slow, did end up with 5 white bass and 1 22" channel cat that hit my Road Runner Jig. I was drifting toward the bank and had set the rod down to paddle. Graph showed 6 ft of water, made one stroke, picked up the rod and she hit. Thought I had a world record White bass, nope, just a channel cat. I keep saying I am going to get a small video camera, wish I had had one on today.
