Lavon handing me a big skunk today. One hour of of throwing netted two shad. So I had to run to Wal-Mart and pitched up some chicken. Beautiful day today....Should have taken the kids to the park.

We had 3 boats out today...one boat had a box fish trip and they smashed them...2 other boats had trophy trips. Between the 2 boats we had 18 fish over 20. Biggest was 55,

Friday night was a bust at Toledo Bend.

Big Zee and I hit Granger Friday. Caught one and maybe a half dozen hits.

Last Saturday, Guntsverville ate my SS prop and skeg. No fishing for me for the next three weeks. Then I'm switching to Lake Wheeler. It has the stump fields that Tom showed in one of his pictures.

The sad truth is I am not very good at fishing. I used to fish a lot and even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. Now that I am busy and with my kids other activities I don't get to fish as much and the truth has be en exposed!
