I had Jim and Chris out today to chase some crappie. The crappie fishing was pretty tough after the storms rolled thru over night and the little fish were getting in the way. Did manage to catch a good mess of 21 keeper crappie and 10 nice fat sandies. All crappie and sandies caught on jigs with several different soft plastics today. We also had a bunch of bonus fish with several gar boated, couple of nice Buffalo with biggest going 10 lbs 9 ounces and the prize of the day was a 35 lbs 10 ounce blue cat on a crappie jig, 8 ft All Star ultra light and 6 lb test line. It was a 30 minute battle to land that fish. Chris got more than he bargained for with that beast on light gear. We were both pretty tired after that fight. Fish of a lifetime on that tackle.

Congrats on catching any crappie on Monday.
I fished most of the day and had a tough time until eventually the sun came out mid afternoon. And the bite picked up some.
The Truth is six of the seven Dwarfs are not Happy!
