I have a 17' predator bay boat. I'm curious how deep it will go. I'd like to try going into Marshall Creek. I hear bay boats are supposed to be designed for shallow flats in bays. I have always used it out in open water so I just figured I'd ask.

in marshall creek ive seen huge pontoons trolling back and forth dang near all the way to 377, assuming you are talking about out of grapevine... so your boat should be fine, just go slow and youll find out if you can make it or not, in the bends stay wide. if you plow a little mud it will just polish up the prop.

Tunnel or no?
It takes some equipment to make a tunnel perform to its potential.
Hydraulic jack plate, compression plate and a flats cupped prop can make it run through stuff that'll scare your passengers pretty bad.
