I respect your opinion, sir. But Nerlens at 6'10", can barely make a layup. Cal missed on him and the kid from Haiti. Anthony Davis was good. Nerlens no way. Not much better than Marcus Lee. And this is coming from a HUGE KENTUCKY FAN. Seems to me that these guys would put forth some effort at learning to play in the paint, with their backs to the basket. Develop a drop step, baby hook or something,if they know hoops is their meal ticket, but they don't. I'm seriously surprised he's still in the NBA with his lack of offensive skills. But that's todays NBA, where a big man isn't the cornerstone of the team anymore.

Averaged 10.5 points per game, 9.5 rebs per game, 4.4 blocks per game, 1.6 assists and 2.1 steals. I'd take that everyday of the week and twice on Sunday, at that was a team loadedvwith superstars. Even in today's NBA most every team would take that from their big man.

Roy Tarpley Jr................... He is no Roy Tarpley on the floor. Hopefully he will be much better off the floor. Roy T played some big time B-Ball against some of the all time best and more than held his own. Sad that the off court was not so well.

I must have somehow forgotten, but Roy Tarpley died January 2015.
He could have been one of the greats. Sort of a hybrid of Karl Malone and Kevin Garnett (a more athletic version of Andrew Bynum)
RIP
