This years tournament will be hosted by Victory Fishing Come out and support the Athens High School Fishing Team through the Athens Bass Boosters Inc. March 4th 2017 on Lake Athens Athens Bass Boosters Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) entity.   Printable link below! Hornet Classic 2017

How many boats do you expect out there, the lake can't handle too many boats.

Not sure! We had close to 20 last year. We probably wont be the largest. I have been on the lake several times when the extra parking lot was full all the way the the Freshwater Fishery.

We adopted that rule when we held the tournament during hot weather. It is simply to help protect the bigger fish. You are certainly welcome to keep them until weigh in and try to upgrade.
