WELL YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE CAUGHT THAT BEAST BUT YOU DID. IM NEW TO THE GAME AS WELL. AND ISN'T IT CRAZY THAT YOU CAN CATCH A MONSTER ON PIECE OF CHICKEN. I MY SELF TOOK ADVICE FROM EVERYONE ON HERE AND THEY ARE GLADE TO HELP. I USE A UGLY STICK CATFISH POLE WITH 65LBS BRAID. BUT CONGRAST. ON THAT MONSTER.

I'd say that fish was in the 40lb range. I caught one bigger and it was only 57.8 on certified scales. I could swear that fish was a lot heavier in my hands than on that scale. Regardless that a great fish. Good job. My buddy holding the fish. Hes 6'2" and about 260lbs 
If I fished for money.........I'd be broke.
