I'm sure this has been posted before, But I need a transducer and getting the feeling I am just SOL. worked for 19 yrs but I am afraid it has given up the ghost. Does anyone even make flashers anymore?

Yes flasher units are still made, but they are digital, not the spinning disk like the 1240A has. Was told no one makes the motors anymore.
Vexilar and MarCum are a couple that make the round flasher style.
Ebay would be a good choice to find another unit or parts.

Many of the Garmin units have flashers (digital).

I bought a transducer for my old flasher one time. It was from the company that makes a lot of lowrance transducers. Epi I think... Anywhere they sell lowrance transducers they normally have this brand mixed in with them, at Bass pro shops, Cabelas, etc. You may still be able to find one.
