Lake Fork Anglers every other week Thursday daytime tournament for Feb 23 was NOT cold for a change but it was real WINDY.
30 anglers fished. Only the five biggest counts

Most of the fish were caught on drop shots, t-rigs and c-rigs and square bills.

Boaters:

First Place Angler went to Bob Roberts with a 10 fish bag of 17.67 lb anchored by the 7.81 boater lunker.
Second place went to Doug Watson with 12 fish coming in at 16.61 with a 5.08 lunker.
Third place went to Galen Smith with a 8 fish at 14.5 lb with a 5.71 lunker.
Fourth place went to Randy Steele with a 11 fish bag at 10.4 with a 3.31 lunker


Co-Anglers

First place went to Chuck Roy with a 5 fish limit of 19.62 lb with the 7.95 co-angler lunker.
Second place went to Robert Gaylor with a 12 fish limit for 8.61 with a 2.61 lunker.
Third place went to Wallace Dyer with a 7.7 lb on 6 fish with a 1.87 lunker.
Fourth place went to John Berech with 9 fish for 7.11 with the 1.63 lunker.

This was the first tournament in quite a while where no one was skunked. 179 fish were caught that counted.

Dues is $5 a year. Tournaments are $12 with an optional $5 lunker pot and an optional $10 big bag pot.
In 2016 the LFA fished 25 times, You have to fish at least 8 to maintain membership. And you have to fish 8 times to be eligible to fish our other two formats: Major league Fishing (known as Hard Core) and the team format known as Faze 4.
