I talked to a couple of guys at temple park yesterday about hybrid fishing at Belton lake. One told me to fish Lawson point and the flats area just before you get to Lawson point. Another said go until it looks like lake turns to river. Was he talking about Lawson point area or north of highway 36 bridge. I've never fished past Lawson point.

I got into whites and hybrids during spring break a few years ago in this area. Birds gave them away on day one, but the rest of the days I knew where they were hiding...

Bet they will be in the same area every year around this time! Good luck!

Wow that's getting shallow for hybrids. I may need a smaller boat.

I think I may stay about 1/4 mile north of bridge no further.
