We are in the process of buying a house between Wolf point reef and Five mile draw on the east side of Carancahua bay.
Are any of you guys familiar with that area? How hard/long is it to get from that area to The pass and Matagorda bay.
I see from the map that most of the water is 3-5 foot deep with multiple reefs especially on the shorelines.
Thanks

Good friend has a house there.
They fish Keller bay. Caranchua is a mud hole
They have a great social time but nobody wastes much time fishing it.

I read that there are some truly good spots in Carancahua bay for reds, trout and flounder.
I am unfamiliar though with the area. I will be there next week however.
Will post if I find any fish.

Synchronized Casting, should be an Olympic event

I've caught some great fish in Keller. Never caught a thing in Carancahua.
