Any info on trout or reds out of Baytown right now? I'm going Sunday and not sure if the rain had them messed up.

I was thinking about going out and checking it out tomorrow. It shows to be pretty fresh on
https://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/ofs/ngofs/ngofs_galveston.html But that doesn't mean there is no fish to be caught there.

Good luck if you go. Let me know if you find them.

went out this morning. Caught 2 hardheads and a BLUE cat near Hodges reef(on Berkley Gulp and popping cork). Spoke to a couple of gentlemen from Baytown who fished the same area they also caught BLUE cats and one small red.
Talked to two guys that went down near Smith Point and into EAST bay they didn't catch any keepers either but said conditions were better in EAST bay.
GOOD LUCK

Try Tabbs Bay. Live shrimp under a cork about 5 ft deep. Fresh on top but salt on the bottom.
Tight lines
