Just bought one of these mounting brackets yesterday. Anyone use one of these? This site has some good stuff!

I've got one for my HDI transducer... it's a good product; a bit pricey, but good!

Do you ever get any interference from the prop etc? Im also trying to wrap my head around (forgive my ignorance) on how that would work. Its my understanding they way it would work is it would run "scan lines" versus the traditional "cone". So if you had one on the back of the boat, what and how would it be a benefit for you because its not really projecting the one on the trolling motor forward correct? Maybe im not understanding how wide (well i kinda get the width part) or how long the scan really is. Curious is all so school me plz...

I have one of those, I am not very schooled on using it, I think in the right hands it could be awesome.

There's a guy selling a mount much cheaper 79.95. It's hawg. I have one nice little unit. I wasn't gonna buy a total scan sense the mount was so much.

I agree. I probably would not put a LSS on the trolling motor. I'm installing a Total Scan which is not just down and side imaging, it's Broadband, CHIRP, StructureScan HD and DownScan Imaging all in one.
