Anyone get the tackle box every month? If so, what do y'all think?

Some junk but lots of baits I wouldn't think to buy or try myself. Gives me an easy way to try new things.

Got it as a christmas present for 3 months, I really liked the first box. Some good stuff in there, I'd throw every single thing in there. No junk in my opinion. Will probably buy it for myself after. I think I got in december a 6 inch swimbait, some flipping craws, a rat l trap, swimbait hooks, a topwater sunfish from live target, and some grubs. The grubs were the only thing I wasn't as psyched about, but they still looked pretty good.
All in all I'd recommend.

Go for the upgrade. You'll be glad you did.

My cousin gets the MTB and I get the Lucky Tackle Box. After comparing the two, I prefer the lucky over the mystery. Every once in awhile I get some stuff I won't use but for the most part I get a mix of stuff that I would buy regularly anyway like rage tail craws and lizards, extra treble hooks for my crankbaits and a good mix of stuff I wouldn't normally think to buy. Usually get between 50-60 dollars value out of my 25 dollar pro bass box.

One of the MTB founders is a TFFer from Celina. You might check out the MTB pro boxes too.

I had it for a year. Really liked it at first, and to be honest I was really impressed with the pro boxes. After a year, I started getting a ton of baits that I never use and my tackle room started looking like I was collecting more than I was fishing. I downscaled alot of tackle and got rid of that subscription. I will say that I did find some great baits that I wouldn't have used otherwise.

It's cool if you like to try new things frequently. For me it was just too much. When my subscription ended I would say half the stuff I have never even tried. I didn't have the pro box though.

I originally had MTB. Got a few of what I felt were the "lesser" boxes. They had a ton of complaints about the partial bags of plastics, but they continued to defend the decision. Guess what they finally did, they came out with the "Pro" box that includes full bags... Well, I did buy in to the pro boxes, and the few I have received are well done. When they get back to brand specific or "special" boxes that are for fishing in lakes that aren't like the ones here, I'll probably drop it again.

Just like many things, it goes in cycles!

I've tried both companies as well. I had issues with Lucky Tackle Box sending me boxes with baits/lures missing. They would eventually send what I was missing but took forever. I switched over to Mystery Tackle box and I have had no issues. I've been happy with the baits so far.

I had Lucky Tackle box for almost 2 years. I liked it but got a little overstocked on lures... If thats possible ha ha.

The stuff was for sure things I would not have bought but ended up trying and some of them I really liked and bought more.

Its cheap entertainment.
