Trying to better understand my electronics. Can someone with HELIX units post pics of what bass look like in 2d and on SI? I think I'm starting to get a better feel for it but having some pics to reference would really help

Images are blurry using cell phone but the fish are circled.

I would have said those were rocks, shows how much I know

wouldnt the shadow extend from the rock ?
there are no objects attached to these shadows

Blue is fish

I don't believe so. Appears to be brush (couple of stick ups). The actual fish, and shadow, are in the circle Jaret made. I'm a shallow water guy, though, so I have no credibility or expertise. The units on my boat are pretty much really expensive temp gauges and GPS, lol

May just be contrast adjustment or pic quality with snapshot, but looks like fish are way bright, just to left of shadows in last pic.
And yes inside the circles, may need to freeze screen with cursor and play with settings while looking at screen. That's how I get mine to focus better for my eyeballs.The fanned out beds sure stand out, nice machine!

These are factory settings on the mega, haven't adjusted them in any way. I took these pics idling between spots while sight fishing
