Has anyone tried the Mr. Crappie Hydrowave? Any thoughts on if they work?

I have the regular Hydrowave. I run it on "Passive Shad" continuous at 3/4 volume.

Don't really care who believes in them or doesn't.

It is another tool to help you put crappie in the boat.

I can think of 100's of things I would spend $300 on over a hydrowave...but that's just me. Do I think they work...have no idea...but caught tons of fish without it fish

Now I know what you're talking about, had a brain fart, I have looked at them but the $ 300.00 keeps me from getting one, I just can't make myself spend that much on something like that. If I could go out and try it to see if it would help and the price was around $ 150.00 or less and it really works I would have one.

On a side note I don't see a lot of people talking about them, maybe price is keeping people from having them or maybe it's great and people are being very quiet about it hmmm

I was on a commercial boat and we weren't catching any fish...we were covered up in fish...captain cussed, flipped a switch, and almost immediately we began to catch fish...he had accidentally turned on the hydrowave unit, which gave the fish lockjaw! We began discussing it...it had been provided by a sales rep, for him to try out...he said every time he turned it on the fish would not bite...and he took it off...told the rep..."no thanks"

Other than that situation, I know squat about them...and will stay with that thought.

You can pick one up on here for $200 or less in the classified from time to time. I paid $150 for mine.

#Post11997109 was one on here for $50.00.

There is also a smaller $99 version of the Hydrowave.
