Launched out of Harvey Creek at 6:30 beautiful morning overcast air temps mid 60’s water temp 59- 63.5. Fished 6 hours 4 stops caught fish at all spots. Ended the day with 35 fish and 25 keepers. Did not find a big bite however 2 to 2.5 Bass were aggressive. Caught fish on senkos, Super flukes, weightless lizards, shallow crank baits, and Smithwick rogues. The rogue bite turned on as water warmed.

We found the same thing. Bucks are up shallow. Kept thinking the bigger ones were right behind but they never showed. If the weather holds it won't be long, but the weatherman up there said 3-5" of rain this week. That probably means .3" of rain. I wouldn't mind another 2' of water in the lake

Like the lake full pool, rains forecast week, should raise lake level.

Let the lake rise about another 3 feet. Make me very happy. Fish are way scattered still. Caught them from 16' to a 5 pounder off a bed in 1' Saturday. I'd love the lake to come up and push them up in the woods.

Do you think that we probably catch bigger fish that are out staging, pushing back and fishing a little deeper

Fish are in all stages. Been spawning for about a month now, even Toledo. Doubt you will find typical staging stuff with the warm winter and early spring we've had. Less structure in the water compared to last 3 years. Inside grass line is usually good when its like this.
