Headed to Fairfield Friday late morning. Beautiful morning with sun supposed to warm up things in afternoon.


First cast in 23 feet of water with a jig and I think I've got a good one. bang


Water conditions: lumpy




Caught 9 bass for the day, biggest 3.75. Most on spinnerbait and swimbait.. because that's what I throw most of the time. Lots of folks on the water. Left them biting really good but didn't have my lights with me and remembered reading about the 30 minutes before sunset thread. Glad I did as the game wardens were working the ramp and there were folks coming in without them. Lots of boat trailers in the parking lot when I left. Better to be safe than sorry. cheers
