Does any one know where I could find a mounting bracket that would extend my Rip Tide out further from the front of my boat.

Talk to shut-up-and-fish. He sell a really nice one works great. You can rotate the motor back for stowing and forward for deployed position. It also gives a much better foot print for attaching securely to the boat.

Please check out the LiftSaver TM Mounting Bracket at www.liftsavertmmount.com. It works with the MG Xi5 and the MK Terrova, Ulterra and Riptide. You can PM me directly if you have any questions or call me at 469-853-5389.

Here are a few pictures of a Riptide mounted on a LiftSaver in the forward and retracted positions. It protects the motor when launching and docking (gives a full 6 3/4" retraction) and gives a more secure mounting platform while still allowing you to adjust the position of the motor to best suit your boat. This one has the 'Quick Detach option' so he can quickly remove his TM for secure storage and he did not have to add any additional holes into his boat. He installed it himself and said it was very easy to do.

That is the LiftSaver TM Mount that Donothin is mentioning. WE put it under an Ulterra and it works and looks great.

Talk to David at "Shut up and Fish" he is the absolute best with the bracket you need.his number is 972-822-9285. He installed my Xi5 trolling motor today and did a remarkable job converting my 5volt system to a 36 volt system. He is a great guy to work with. I will only let him do any electronics on my boat. He is the best, with great prices.
