Backed it in the lake, same issue. Needless to say, its @ Sevice Marine now...
Used my partners boat this weekend. Had 14.10, barely missed out on a check. We lost 2 that would have moved us up. We had two , 14-1/8th" dinks weighed in.

Update- As of now, I've been informed the air compressor has crapped out. Told em to go ahead and change out fuel filters as well.

So is this a gas problem from a gas station or something? It sure seems strange there were so many engine problems. I have a hard time believing it is just coincidence.

I did not get fuel at lakeside places.

Just got the official word....it is NOT BLOWN...just a compressor trying to go out. No damage past the compressor itself. Gonna be a lot cheaper on me now. Glad we shut it down and got off the water. I got real lucky.

Lots of strange things going on @ C.C. , it's really crazy when you have problems with your equipment at Tournaments

Or just bad luck and coincidence. I doubt the lake had much to do with it.

Was my first BassChamps tournament so we had no idea what to expect. I'd been out to CC 3 times for practice before the off limits and never could put it together. The day of the tournament we found them pretty good on a single stretch of docks that we just kept going over but I lost 4 in the 2-3 lbs range using a Gamakatsu skip gap hook. Switched to offset round bend and had no more problems but by then we were only getting unders to bite once the sun came out. End the day with partner having a 4 pounder come off at the boat. Long story short, we found them, got them to bite, but couldn't get them in the boat.
