why edit fish pics? We want to see pics of fish not water. Sunrises and sunsets are fine but....come on man. We know you loaded the boat. Lol If you don't want to get hate mail just take singles pics with angler holding 1 or 2 fish. Post a comment with how many fish were caught and you can state how many were kept or released if you want but not necessary. The pics with the floor of your boat covered in fish or 15 ft. stringers loaded make us all go "wow" and then the internet game wardens go to counting them. You can also take pic of a cooler or fish box with a couple of big fish on top with no identifying size labels or surrounding objects that will give someone an idea of the size box or cooler. You have a right to be excited and proud of your accomplishments. Most of us share your excitement when you post how your day went. There will always be haters. They are usually just jealous cause they can't do as well. As long as you are certain all fish size and limits are legal don't worry about the haters. The law allows any of us to keep a given amount and size fish to harvest. I have no doubt every tidbit you harvest gets eaten and that is what TPWD takes into account when making laws for this resource. A lot of people don't eat fish that often and can't grasp the idea that some of us do. If I am correct in your culture y'all eat fish almost every meal and if not at least daily with almost everything but the scales being consumed. Lol If someone has told you as a guide you should protect the fish and not keep them so others can enjoy that's BS. If it is legal carry on my man. From some of your previous comments, I think you are a concerned conservationist that enjoys catching and sharing with others so they can also enjoy bringing home a legal mess of fish. If you are like me you release the smaller fish and only keep a few of the monsters of the ones that are able to reproduce. If that particular species doesn't reproduce then keep as many as you can legally. I bet you don't keep a 10 inch sandbass unless you don't catch bigger ones. I won't at all unless nothing else is caught and I can't persuade the guys it isn't worth the trouble cleaning it. A 18 inch hybrid ( not 17 7/8 inches) is legal and has a lot of meat on it. Eat him. TPWD monitors how the resource is doing and will restock or change limits to keep the resource where THEY want it to be. Sorry this is so long just wanted you to know I'm on your side if we/you stay on the up and up. I'm sure I'll get some hate mail or at least blasted some for this. Glad I am thick skinned.

Carter we did the M C hammer time on them white bass yesterday. Click here if you don't know what M C hammer time is. https://youtu.be/otCpCn0l4Wo?t=115 Dang hybrids are every where on the scan but just refuse to bite. One thing I learn about Somerville hybrids is they bite when they are good and ready to bite. If anyone paid attention and notice a pre spring pattern,it could be a stellar day every day from here on. I edited the pictures because I didn't want junior game warden on me. The picture had some ridiculous stringers all legal caught with friends yesterday. Game warden were out on the lake checking boats yesterday. You just gonna have to trust TCK words. In deed it was a stellar of a day!! or should I say a stellar of an evening!! Water temp yesterday was 62.5 and never climb past 64.5 yesterday. Made for a tuff morning bites but once water temp reaches 64.5 it was game on. Fish began to feed hard and aggressively. Most fish was caught on a variety of artificial baits including umbrella rigs and tiny pet spoons. Down sizing baits results in more hits. The tiniest bait produces the most fish. Fish bellies are still full of eggs and space inside their bellies are limited so they tends to hit on smaller baits. Just my 2 cents. Jbobo you are exactly right and some good advice!! Here's one of two stringers My boy did some lip rippin today too!!

Agree with JBobo, haters gonna hate, give em a wink and a nod, then carry on within the legal limits.

Would of call you if there were fish. Fish are in their pre spring pattern. It should bust wide open once water Temps stay consistently obove 65 degrees.

I'm gonna have to take you up on an electronics teaching trip, Bruce. I would consider myself a good fisherman. But my experience with electronics is very limited. What set up do you have on your boat?

What set up do you have on your boat? Tacklehorder I'm still old schooled on the 1199 Humminbird. Technology is changing rapidly and am planning to catch up with the new stuff my self. If you got the Humminbird 1199 and older series with side scan I can help. Getting my Chirp Helix soon. Then eventually on to the Mega series.

I just need a good starter unit, and buying something that is a little older and a lot cheaper would sure help me out a lot. I'll do some looking around and see what I can find.
