has anyone checked the water temp. on lake worth lately? I have not been able to go buthave heard the fish are biting.

I haven't seen them schooling but I have been catching them in my cast net throwing for shad on the deeper end of the lake by the dam, lot of shad down there so you can easily find the shad schools with your sonar and locate the sandbass

Thanks Mike for that info.I need to take my grandson fishing and sandbass provide good action for the younger fisherman.

Water temp was 54 this afternoon in the open water and 56-57 up in the back of coves. Sandys schooled for a while late evening, birds were showing the way.
