Bout to buy a new graph and need some responses asap dive it never accursed to me before. How often do you use SI/DI on the front? I have Ultrex and helix at dash, so if I get a DI/SI unit I will only be able to pull the SI/DI from the transom transducer as the US2 doesn't support those.

I use the split screen with 2D from the trolling motor on left and DI from transom on the right a lot when fishing deep. Never use SI on front unit and seldom use mapping on front since I normally put out a bouy.

Since in theory when you are on the bow you aren't moving real fast, the SI up there is useless. When Slade fine tuned all of my graphs he set my screen on the bow with 3 different things, 2D from the trolling motor, DI from the transom and a map. Never thought to do this but its great to know the depth on both the front and the back at all times.

Beginning to use DI a lot more on the TM. Was at Squaw last weekend and some of the returns in 8'-15'deep in the stump fields were pretty amazing.

I use DI on the bow when I'm not sure exactly what I am looking at on sonar.

You don't need to be moving fast for the SI to work. I had it on mine until I broke the last transducer. Lately, I haven't even been using a FF on the bow

I run 2d and down boat never moves fast enough for Si up front plus my 2d is off the trolling motor and Di is off the back helps keep the boat on humps or creek channels when the front is on the up side of a ledge and the back is on the downside for boat positioning

I use Humminbird Side Imaging with the Side Imaging transducer on the trolling motor or 360 at the bow all the time. Occasionally add 2D sonar and never Down Imaging when fishing.
