Going to Toledo Bend next week. Is there any striper or sand bass there. We are staying at fin & feather. I was thinking it should be good around the dam. Any help would be apprecated

I grew up around Toledo Bend on the Louisiana side. There are striper in the lake. I would check with the resort operators. They should be able to give you some pointers.

Every bend in the river will be holding them right now. Way up north. Long drive from Fin & Feather.

In the late 70s and early 80s roflmao

There are definitely stripers in the lake, my high school friends mom once held the LA state record for a striper for less than 24 hours, was broke by 4 ounces the next day.

You are going to TB on a full moon as the largemouth's are moving up to spawn? I'm going next week and it would take a lot of boiling water to pull me off chasing the big one. That being said, we got into them thick last April and those are so of the fightingest sandbass I've ever caught. Good luck and report back.

Whent to Tolido Bend last weekend for the first time. If your looking for black bass its a good lake. The lake is full of stumps. With that sead I did not fish much because my Trolling motor remote would not work made it tuff to fish. Fin& Fether is a first class place (room, food and boat remap)
