I checked it out for the first time monday, i caught 1 decent crappie but would like to find more lol...anybody have any experience with this stretch of the river?

The signature pic of my wife holding the crappie came from there. It's the only time we've been, and the only crappie we caught.

bobcat1- well lets hope everybody is in a giving mood lol Rods454-nice i was impressed with the river. It had a little bit of everything. I ended up catching 5 lmb biggest being 2.5pounds and 4 sand bass and the one crappie. Im just getting into crappie fishing and could use a little help lol.

There are no Sand bass in the nolan.
