The wind has been keeping me off the water for the past few weekends. Today, the wind was blowing harder than ever so I took a trip to a group of ponds that are usually productive. The smaller pond in the group must be warming up quicker and the fish in that pond were more active. I caught a few small ones and I also caught the one in the picture below. I think I caught her last year after she was spawned out and I was disappointed. Not this time!

I refuse to say what the secret bait was that was so successful. wink
