I drove by there Sat and you couldn't find a parking spot.
Anyone care to report on how the fishing was?

I hit it on Friday and caught 11 little largemouth, 3 little crappie and three white bass. all were caught on small green and black straight tail jig under a float. If you take Old Alton road about a quarter mile south of bridge you will find an other parking lot with good trails you can follow back to the river

It looks like a bit of a walk.
