Hit mid lake area finding water temps 59-63 light SW breeze. Caught lots of fish with 14.5 pounds top five. largest 5.25 seemed thin for her head size, think she'd spawned. She hit a rogue outside grass. Most fish caught fishing a weightless lizard watermelon blue flake on a medium heavy rod, curado reel, and vicious 15 pound fluorocarbon. TX rigged brush hogs, Senkos, Wacky worms, and rogues also caught fish. Saw lots of beds guarded by bucks and one very boat, lure shy chunky female. Great morning on the lake boat traffic not to bad except for peckerwood point with a dozen boats vying for position. Good luck and tight lines

Good job. I was out yesterday also. Hit some shallow spots early in the day that didn't produce much. We caught a few small buck bass, but no females. We decided to go deep and ended up catching them pretty good throughout the afternoon. Nothing real big, about 3.5 being the biggest, but they were sure fun to catch.
