The Texas side of Caddo from Little Green Brake to Ames Spring Basin is over until we get a flood. The Salvinia has entirely taken over, the only open water is certain parts of the boat roads. It is very difficult to even navigate. There are some fish being caught on Big Cypress Bayou, and I hear the HWY 43 bridge launch is still in good shape, so if you're going to go, I would recommend going on that end. Or,You can still launch at Johnson's Ranch ok, but Potters Point, Tucker's, and the Buzzard Bay launch are socked in.

I just left the lake. It's a day to day deal. Most of Texas has salvania around everything. Most of it has drifted away opening all boat rows but C. But u have play the wind daily to fish everywhere. Most of texas around islands and banks is full of salvania. Most people only averaging 5-10 fish a trip. I've been out 4 times this year to caddo with only 3 overs in bout 25 fish now. I only had9 bites today and 7 that I boated was indeed. Lol. If ur making a drive, I would suggest going somewhere else and save the gas money
