 Side Scan not working / Lowrance

Gen 3 HDS 9, down scan works fine, sonar works fine, I went to check side scan and it just scrolls a white screen, left only, right only or both sides have no image at all? I turned the unit off and on, then tried to turn it off at the source power, not change? Does anyone have a tip on how to fix this?

Which transducer do you have connected to the HDS-9?

I had the same problem, and then went into the menu and selected the transducer I had on and it worked fine after that.
