I have two Helix 10's linked with a 360 and SI / DI transducer via a 5-port Ethernet hub. My console unit operates fine. The bow unit is networked to read the consoles SI & DI signal through the 5-port. I keep getting a message that the SI / DI signal is lost on the bow unit and the screen goes back to the map. Any ideas what might be going on?

Is your software up to date? Are the cables shaking loose?

All cables are tight & it has the latest software update. I had an open port on the hub, so I moved the bow unit network cable to an open port. I'll give it another try tomorrow and see if it helped any.

I get that not long after turning on the units but then it goes away. Are you giving the units time to cycle on and to find the signal?

Always turn the console unit on first and then the bow unit shortly after. I know since they're linked I have to give the console time to lock into signals for the bow to use the transducer & 360 signals, but do you think I might need to wait a little longer before powering up the bow unit? Also, this is happening after the units have been on a while and the bow unit has already shown SI / DI screens. Then all of a sudden I get a message that it's lost SI signal, change to 360 or the screen just goes back to the navigation screen.

Mine does the same thing but after it goes back to map, i switch back to sonar/DI and it doesn't happen again. I do have an issue when I start the boat and front graph shuts off but back is OK, leading me to believe it's not getting enough power up front.

The boat's a new to me Phoenix 619 Pro and I'm wondering if I shouldn't pull new 12 gauge wiring for everything and go straight to the battery. It's routed through the accessory panel now.

I believe so. This is happening a while after a SI / DI screen has been pulled up and the units have gone through the system checks.

Just an update - i rewired my graphs using a fuse block. 10 gauge power/ground direct from battery to block, 16 gauge from block to graphs. Issue is gone.
