Ok..Rookie question for the saltwater guys--what techniques and rigs (baits) do yu all use when drift fishing bay areas. Im a freshwater guy who will begin to fish some saltwater bays. We drift for blue cat in north texas but thats bottom rigging (santee cooper rigs) I use to fish gulf bays in florida. simply used poppin cork/shrimp but that was during the 90's. would luv to hear some strategy and technique in covering some area.

Soft plastics on jig heads. Saltwater assian, down south lires, egerat baits... 1/8-1/4 jig head. Cover water find fish!
