I had Bobby and his dad Bill from Michigan out today for a combo white bass and crappie trip. The bite was a little slower with the change in weather and strong winds. They did manage 26 nice keeper white bass and 3 crappie. They left with a solid gallon bag of fillets for some fish frys. They had a few small whites and a lot of small crappie today. They both had a great time and I look forward to having them out again soon.

I would not have wanted to try out the big pond up there yesterday. I don't think try and get out of the wind and Texoma go together very well.

I had a customer the other day that needed a shot or 2 of whiskey after a ride thru some timber. No telling what he might have needed after a ride on Texoma in 25-30 plus winds.

Jacky is a great guide. We had a great time catching, but all my dad wants to talk about is the way that he navigated the creek we were in. My dad's mainly a big water, pier, or ice fisherman, so catching fish in a winding creek with huge banks was something special for him. Looking forward to another trip with Jacky for sure.
