I'm going to SPI for a bachelor party this weekend. Anyone know any decent areas we can wade and catch a few trout? Or a guide that isn't 400-500 per boat?

You can walk in on the Sand. The "Sand" is on the Island side, hard packed and goes on for miles and miles. Tides matter a lot. Moon matters. Let me know if you want to know more. That's my old home-water. That's a fish I managed to get my SO on January last year on the Sand. BUT NOW THAT I LOOK, i guess this is a little late.

Good info. On my way back to Texas from Az this week. Needed to know where I could do some surf fishing in the RGV.
