Kenmore bottom freezer compartment inexplicably developing thick frost buildup under bottom food bin and bottom shelf. not a ice maker water leak. Any ideas

I thought mine was going out. It frosted all up and was making crazy noises. I emptied it and unplugged it for about 3 days. Opened it all and let it all dry out good. Plugged it back in and she's been doing just fine ever since. That was about 3 months ago. Go figure! noidea

This, also if the seal isn't good around the door it will allow humid air to draft in and turn to frost on the inside of the walls.

Google ,,plugged defrost drain tube,,,,, defroster works but can't drain,, builds up in bottom

I just recently fixed mine with same problem by finding the defrost heater was fried and replacing it with a new one.
