 Looking for inshore and offshore kayak- thinking about an ocean trident 13 or 15. THoughts/reviews/suggestions??

I will be inshore bay fishing and also hope to take it offshore to the rigs and stuff. I live in the cc area/padre island. The trident 15 is a handsome kayak and reasonably priced... I dont have the budget for a hobie, lol. Are there other models you would suggest for a noob to kayak fishing?

My wife paddles the viking profish 400 lite. Its 13.5 ft and 53 lbs and weight cap is 400 lbs. Its a super capable yak, not just for beginners. Last year we paddled 8 miles offshore to a reef in destin florida. We do also love to paddle and fish for kings in cc. We typically cover about 20 miles a day.

How tall r u n What do u weight? R u a strong/ good paddler?
U said offshore. Did u mean just beyond the surf or 1-4 miles from the beach?
