I took a late start this morning and headed up to Nails Creek State Park to launch the Yak and actually planned to fish Nails creek, but instead paddled up into the Yegua to try and avoid the multitude of duck hunters. The Winds were coming out of the Northwest, but very manageable around 9am when I finally hit the water. Paddled up to my usual spots, found some small crappie and a few small whites. Also managed to land some sunfish, which I never have caught in the Yegua. About mid-day, the winds picked up quite a bit and I decided that it would be best to head in to the boat ramp. Once on the open lake, the winds were ferocious, but fortunately they were at my back. I did manage to find some good size whites bass and crappie. Took three good size fish home with me for dinner and enjoyable day on the creek.

Nice job! I really need to get on building a rack for my Jeep so I can head up there!
